Monta Monique Said, founder & creator of MoveOverMozart (Easy Play Piano): MMus, MPhil (RAM), MEd, Certified K-12 Music Teacher & Noteflight Certified Educator
EASY PLAY PIANO is taught by Monta Monique, who is a certified K-12 music teacher based in California. As well as obtaining her master’s degree in piano performance, she also graduated with a master’s degree in Historical Musicology from the Royal Academy in London, England. She also has a graduate degree in Music Education and has been teaching piano for 20 plus years. She has been the featured soloist with several Northwest symphonies and was the State winner of MTNA. She is also the recipient of the National Yamaha Music Talent Award presented while competing for the title of Miss America. She officially began creating piano tutorials on Youtube in 2022, and due to high reception created Easy Play Piano.

Will the lessons be similar to your Youtube Videos?
Yes, it is. If you’re familiar with my style of teaching and presenting videos on my Youtube channel, the layout, style and presentation is the same in the course.

Do I need a 'real' piano?
No! You can take this course and benefit from it as long as your keyboard/piano is at least a standard 49 key size.

Will I learn to play pieces (songs) I recognize?
Yes! I've included many pieces/songs/tunes you should recognize by ear. I've also included resources to help you to continue to thrive in your musical journey
